Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) 

Knowledge and Human Development Authority ( KHDA), Dubaiis the educational quality assurance and regulatory authority of the Government of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It oversees the private education sector in Dubai, including early childhood education centers, schools, higher education providers, and training institute.

Certificate:

Upon successful completion of the study and online test, students will be awarded with a certificate issued from KHDA, Dubai Govt Approved.

The certificate is also recognized to be attested by (it attracts additional Cost)

By doing this the student will get two certificates:

  • Main Certificate
  • Additional certificate with attestation 

KHDA First Aid at Work

First Aid is necessary for immediate injury care before emergency services come to help. Taking this course may potentially mean the difference between life and death and help to mitigate an injury 's severity.

Trainees will be able to find out at the end of the course: Appreciate the value of first aid at work, recognize legal requirements and minimum first aid provisions, Identify the correct steps if an accident, event or injury occurs, Take effective steps to deal with injuries and emergencies at work

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to know:

  • Appreciate the importance of first aid at work
  • Recognize the legal obligations and minimum provisions with respect to first aid
  • Identify the correct steps when responding to an accident, incident or injury
  • Take appropriate action in response to accidents and emergencies at work 

Course Chapters:

  1. First Aid in the Workplace
    Discover the importance of First Aid, as well as First Aid Regulations and assessing the risks.
  2. First Aid provisions
    Learn about contents of the First Aid Box, storing and maintaining the First Aid Box, First Aider training and additional provisions.
  3. Procedures in First Aid
    Assessing the situation, the recovery position, CPR and Abdominal thrusts
  4. First Aid Scenarios
    Respiratory Emergency, choking, bleeding, burns, electric shock and other injuries

How it works?

First Aid in the workplace for employees is delivered online as an interactive course to each trainee on their computers, or portable device at any internet enabled location. The interactive course is engaging, informative and exciting to use. Using up-to-date, modern graphical images, users will be faced with a selection of interactive elements and mini quizzes to test their knowledge. Users will receive informative advice and guidance and will be tested on their understanding of the subject at the end of the course by completing the compulsory self-test. This course also features a risk checklist which asks the user a series of questions relating to their current working environment.
